Pollinator gardens

Problem : We humans wouldn’t be able to survive without pollinators! Yet we’ve seen a drastic decline in pollinators around the globe in recent years, largely because of pathogens and the use of pesticides.
Creating pollinator gardens. The park creates gardens full of native flowers for pollinators (butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, etc.) to feed on. It also encourages municipalities and residents to plant such gardens. © Enrico Asselin
Awareness and education. The park conducts various targeted awareness activities to promote the use of native plants in landscaping. To find out more, see the pollinator garden at the organization’s headquarters and read the interpretation panel. © Éco-Nature
Choose mainly native species for your garden. Select a variety of flowers that bloom at different times, to attract more pollinators.
